“Missing Pieces - OctoPulseThor” Reason Refill
Second piece from the “Missing Pieces” Refills collection made by Navi Retlav. This Refill focuses on sounds produced by the famous “Thor” synthesizer combined with the brand new Pulveriser, The Echo, Alligator and even Kong with optional Line6 amp effect devices from Reason 6.
There are 5 main folders inside this Refill. All sounds are categorized into Pad, Bass, Synth, and FX subfolders.

  1. “Thor” - Contains Thor synth patches, with each one having advanced modulation routing and a unique sound.
  2. “Combinator” - Here you have all Thor patches armed with various effects. Every pad, synth and FX combinator work in the same way. This makes this Refill very intuitive and easy to use without looking at knob labels. Bass combinator patches are redesigned for better workflow with the ability to produce wobbles. Each single Thor combinator has a dedicated Line6 button, that activates a Line6 amp device and some of them may use extra Line6 amp models that are included only with the optional PodFarm software. This is an optional feature, but if you have it, it may blow your mind.
  3. “TriPulseThor” folder includes combinators with 3 Thor sounds with volume control for each one. It’s very simple setup without any special effects.
  4. “OctoPulseThor” - One of the most complicated combinators set ever made in commercial Refill. It uses 8 Thors for producing sound, one knob for blending between each Thor, a second knob for selecting cutting frequencies, and a third for making them deep, dark or bright. Just connect LFOs and it will automatically turn into an endless evolving sound generator.
  5. BONUS - It’s your best friend when you need nice looking combinator skins or demo songs.
